PPMAF 2008: FOUR COUNTRIES GET TO THE POINT -
Background
Founded in 1988 in New Zealand, the Pan Pacific Forum is comprised of medical acupuncturists in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA. Member countries host the conference by rotation every 4 years. Canada hosted the first official conference in 1992 in Vancouver. 16 years later it is our turn again….

Conference Details:
Dates Monday October 20 to Friday October 24, 2008 –register early; space limited to 200 participants.
PPMAF 2008 Academic Program as at May 29, 2008. Further details will be posted as we receive them, including abstracts and learning objectives. The full program with dates for each lecture will be finalized as soon as possible.

Examine and diagnose patients, select acupuncture points for treatment, and discuss rationale for the choices made to treat real world patient issues. Actual patients and their cases will be presented throughout the seminar.

Anatomical plus Classical Acupuncture approaches.
Competency:
Participants will learn how to integrate:
• TCM and Anatomical assessments.
• Learn how to develop a unique treatment plan.
• Learn best practices to maximize therapeutic results.
Study Credits: This program meets the accreditation criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for up to 6.0 Mainpro-M1 credits. Members of the American Academy of Family Physicians are eligible to receive up to 6.0 Prescribed credit hours for attendance at this meeting due to reciprocal agreements with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
